Perspective

The concept of perspective is important in art and design. It can refer to how objects appear to the eye or to a way to make realistic art. However, it can also mean one’s point of view, their position in the sense of ‘everything‘. I could talk about how we are one of billions, how nature dwarfs us until we are like a grain of sand in a limitless beach, but this would be depressing. I prefer to think about it the other way around: we are something special in a majestic universe. When I saw this video, I didn’t quake at the implications that we are nothing, instead I marveled at the scale of our cosmos. All I see is limitless potential.
